Project 52

(If the image refuses to load, you should be able to see it in a new tab by clicking here.)

I had to include the cutout from the local paper because it amused me that the officers were disappointed the bird wasn't a penguin.

No mom news other than she was feeling great the last time I spoke with her. That was good news as she had just returned from the hospital where they were trying to diagnose her tummy troubles.

As for me, I was at my dentist's yesterday with a painful bump in my mouth. An infection set in where my gum has receded so I'm on antibiotics for seven days. I was concerned that I would need a root canal but xrays revealed that won't be necessary. Yay for that.

I'm glad you won't need a root canal. But an infection! WOE!

And I'm terribly amused the officers wanted to see a penguin. That is great.

Yeah, there's a definite difference between Hockensmith's books and English mysteries in terms of language!

But how I love them. I mean, who couldn't love Old Red and his deducifying?

For the kitties over Labor Day, could Ian (or some other friend/friend's kid) come and house/cat sit (DaBoy is doing that here)? Or ask Tegan/Kevin for their catsitter's contact info. You may be out of their area, but they might have a recommendation.
