Theme music

For the past couple of weeks depression has been kicking my ass. I haven't felt like doing much of anything that hasn't involved curling up on my corner of the couch, not even sending email or reading new slash. One thing I have felt like doing, however, is listening to the soundtrack from Miami Vice (the series, not the movie. Although I suspect that if I had the soundtrack to the movie, I'd listen to it too).

Anyway, after listening to Crockett's Theme and Rain a few times too many, I started to wonder what my theme would sound like if I had one. Would I like it the same way I like Rain, or would I find the tune depressing? Would it be electronic, like Jan Hammer, Christopher Franke, or Tangerine Dream, or more like something written by Henry Mancini? Or maybe some celtic piece in the style of a Wolfstone instrumental?

I don't think your theme could be any one thing -- there are too many sides to your personality. But there'd be a bit that would have people saying "wow -- cool!", followed by another bit that would garner an "Of COURSE" reaction, followed by another that would make people stop and think. And they'd all hang together amazingly well.

If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.

I think that's a lovely theme song, and it should end with cheering or applause of some sort.
