Quick update

Yesterday we were in Lansing for my mother's second husband's mother's funeral. Parts of the service were in Latvian, which was interesting. As was the Latvian tradition of throwing handfuls of dirt onto the casket vault. That was obviously the part of the service my littlest cousins enjoyed -- the grins on their faces were priceless. For me, the best part was getting to see folks I don't get to see very often. Tommy flew in from Ft. Bliss (Texas) and we picked him up at the airport prior to driving to Lansing. Tracy and her family drove in from Milwaukee. I think this is the first time I've seen her since her baby shower -- and the baby is now 14 months old. I also discovered that Travis got his girlfriend pregnant. They're both in high school (and she's not even 18 yet).

Today I'm back at work, but not running at 100%. Whether it's allergies, female trouble, or something else, I'm run down and having trouble staying awake for more than a half hour at a time.
