eftychia: Me in kilt and poofy shirt, facing away, playing acoustic guitar behind head (Default)

I'm borrowing your testin' entry to test somethin' else.

On LJ I've lately been seeing apostrophes in subject lines of comments turn into un-rendered numerical character entities on followups. Just wondering whether the problem is specific to the current version of the LJ code, or exists on DW as well.

Following up my own comment in a web browser ...

Failed to reproduce the bug on LJ, too, making me wonder whether the times it shows up are from people replying to notification email instead of clicking the reply button on the read-comments page. I'm not quite curious enough to turn HTML-email on yet.

Wasn't there something in the latest patch update about <lj user> in subject lines?

Awesome, the change your vote thingy worked, too. I started out with yesses & realized I should have gone with no on both counts, then saw the "change your vote" option & took it.

I did your poll, but I have to admit that I almost never use Dreamwidth. Too lazy. I have enough to do with LJ these days. =>}

What I like best about DW is the easy cross-posting. And now that I know I can do polls on DW, I'm even less likely to post from LJ. Not that I won't respond here, obviously.

As long as I see your posts here. I'm just too old a dog to learn new tricks at the moment. =>}
