Last weekend vs. this

Last weekend was frustrating. I spent my time trying to wrap up a bunch of projects but didn't knock a single one off my to-do list. By the time we finally got home Sunday night (we'd gone in to the office since I needed lots of table space for what I was working on), I found myself wishing I could rewind the clock.

This weekend I didn't expect to get anything done. For one thing, it was SEMGS. Plus I wanted to catch up on sleep. Contrary to my expectations, I managed to get some sleep, to catch up on dishes and the laundry, clean the upstairs bathroom, and knit the equivalent of one Jayne hat. Plus I managed to take a decent photo of our incredibly-difficult-to-shoot cats.

Now those are some gorgeous cats! (And you've given me my first chance to use this icon, too!)

What cuties. Although they DO look a little miffed to be photographed! LOL. =>}

Oh, those are gorgeous kitties. And you can tell they don't like having their pictures taken.

Most of our cats loved to be photographed. I'll have to transfer some pictures to my computer and post them. With at least one of them, all we had to do was aim a camera in his direction and he struck poses and winked at the camera. :-)))

I miss my kitties.

Boy, you can read their expressions

I got your special Valentine's Day package in the mail this weekend, and goodness, you are so thoughtful and talented! *hugs you* I didn't know what the heck it was at first, because as I opened it I was like, Something smells weird! LOL.

The bag is beautiful and I will actually use it. Thank you thank you thank you for thinking of me, and for all the time you no doubt spent crocheting (I'm guessing, it looks like crochet the way my grandma used to do) the beautiful bag.

Happy Valentine's Day to you too, A!

I believe the one you have is crochet and only crochet. I switched to a combination of knit and crochet later.

Glad you like your gift and hope you have a swell Valentine's Day!

Yes, they do, don't they. I think Hector was merely concerned his pillow would get up and walk away as he generally doesn't mind being photographed. Unlike his 'brother,' who will either vacate the room, turn his head, or take an unflattering pose and begin grooming himself.

I'd love to see photos of your kitties. None of our cats have ever been camera hounds. Rather a pity too, as all have been handsome beasts and almost all of my cats had winning personalities. The only exception to the rule was Filmore West -- my black longhair. He was absolutely gorgeous and incredibily mean.

It's strange how they seem to know they're being photographed! *g*
