The German Chocolate Cake flavor is less long-lived than "of the month." It might be "of the day" or possibly "of the current special batch until we run out." Ah ... The Spouse just looked ... "flavor of the week." No idea what day they change it, though.
There were no bits of anything in the custard, but it had a noticeable toasted coconut taste in with the chocolate goodness. I may have to stop by again to see if it's still there.
On a personal note, I was pleased to see they offered a "baby cone"; a bit of a rip-off, price-wise, but it's about as much as I should be eating, so that's what I got. It's hard to slowly savor frozen custard, but I tried.
