In general:

  • Do not schedule your first dose of shingles vaccine in the 14 days before your COVID-19 vaccine appointment.

  • After dose one of the COVID-19 vaccine: Do not get any other vaccines until you have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Wait at least 28 days after the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Your second dose of the shingles vaccine can be given 2-6 months after your first dose. When making your appointment, tell your immunization provider the date of your second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
